Welcome to our Family-owned Independent restaurant, McBain’s By The River, situated on the bank of the River Ness next door to the famous photographed Old North Church and the Victorian built Grieg Street Suspension Bridge. We welcome guests to our Restaurant, here in the heart of the City Centre of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands to enjoy the views up and down the river, We create delicious homemade dishes using fresh local produce with added inspiration and flavours from all around the world. We take our time to source the finest local Scottish produce to use in our unique recipes. Due to the restaurant size, we allow a 2 hour time slot for each table. If you have to cancel a table booking, please let us know as soon as possible because we are a very small restaurant and this has a massive impact upon us. Any tables of 6 and above will require a despot of £10 per head when booking.
